Many universities struggle with getting reliable data to inform future trends and portfolio decisions. But the call on data and insight from internal planning colleagues is huge. What can we do to create Planning and insight functions that can help us to deliver on our institutional strategic goals?

Andy Youell has worked in HE data and systems for over thirty years. His CV includes funding councils, sector bodies and HE institutions. He works with HE institutions, software providers and governments across the world on HE data issues. He was a member of the independent review of 2020 qualification grades that was commissioned by the Welsh Government following the exam grades fiasco.

Andy writes on all aspects of data in the modern world and is a renowned speaker for conferences and events in the UK and beyond. He is a regular contributor to higher education podcasts and webinars.
